Excellent iPad case – couldn’t be happier,
I am not one to usually leave feedback on items purchased, but I had to comment on this iPad case.
The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of the construction are incredible. It compliments the quality of the iPad better than I would have thought. The iPad fits in the case perfectly.
I was somewhat concerned about what the negative reviews said, but all of the comments turned out to be no big deal.
1) Not sitting up in the slots well – I have found that the middle slot is the most stable, but none of them are all that good for typing on the iPad. I have found that turning the case over with the back folded behind is the best position for this. It offers a very stable position and is most like the angle of a real keyboard. The provided stand slots are best for viewing.
2) The chemical smell. There was a considerable chemical smell when the product arrived, but I have been using the case for three days now and it has mostly dissipated. It now smells like fine leather as it should. I think that maybe the manufacturer could let the case air out before shipping – I believe the smell is just the tanning chemicals used in all modern leathers.
3) The case laying flat. I am not quite sure about the complaints for this, the case lays flat when opened like a book. I would not expect the case to to so with the cover folded behind, if that is what the reviewers are commenting on.
4) Difficulty un-snapping the two clips to use the stand. If used in the way that I commented on earlier, the clips can remain snapped. That being said, I have not found un-snapping it all that difficult – hold the case in both hands with your thumbs on the clips, slightly push with your thumbs, and the clips come right out.
5) Holding the case. I tend not to hold the iPad in this manner (on the long side), but I do have long fingers and large hands, so holding this while using it is not a problem for me. It could be difficult for someone with smaller hands.
I highly recommend this case. You can not beat the quality, especially for this price.

|Virtually Perfect,
Like many iPad owners, I defaulted to the cheap Apple case when I initially bought my iPad. Once I got home, I started looking for a “real” case. I wanted the following features:
1. Leather
2. Black
3. Lightweight
4. No “extras”. (pockets, snaps, buckles, etc.)
5. Inexpensive
After looking at over 60 options, I ended up here. I am very happy with my decision. The case is very “clean” and unlike most leather cases, this one doesn’t cover the edges of the screen. The iPad snaps in nicely and is very secure. Actually, the only complaint I have is when you want to tilt it you have to pop it out of the lower two corners and it takes a couple of seconds worth of effort. Not a big trade-off given the overall design and functionality of the case.
I really like the leather and the lack of some ugly logo is appreciated. The cover closes well and stays closed.
Overall I wouldn’t change a thing. Delivery was fast and the price is great. Order up.

This cover is without a doubt the best bang for the buck. I’ve seen covers at almost twice the price and they can’t hold a candle to this one. The quality of material was a lot more than I expected, it was comparable to cases twice it’s price. The most outstanding feature is the ability to stage the iPad in four different angles while in landscape mode. It is great when having to type or viewing videos. This was definitely my “best buy” from Amazon.
